We always have a choice over life, I believe. Not all the time, but MOST of the time.
Some things though; parents, siblings, birthplace etc are not within your choices. Some choices that you make can change along the way. Some choices, once made are fixed by Society's virtues. Some choices, you rather not make.
If you have a choice, would you rather be :
UGLY but SMART ??
or
GOOD LOOKING but STUPID ??

I'd rather be "Ugly and Smart".
At least, i'll have:
- the inner beauty to charm
- the intelligence to attract and make others sit up and notice
- with the intelligence, capability to make money.
=> Thereafter, If really the look can't quite make it, I will go for plastic surgery! By then, i will be able to afford it! :D

Dear Lara
But we do know that Guys are visual animals yah? So first impression counts. Within the first 5 seconds, he is not attracted, the rest is history. Then how do you use one's inner beauty to captivate within split seconds?!

Ahh... my dear 6th sense,
Sometimes it's not just about the face you know. Try this killer combination, intelligence with killer wit, armed with a good sense of grooming and dressing. Not to mention, be sharp and a gd listener. Observe his dressing, gadgets he's carrying, his conversation etc. You'll be able to strike an intelligent conversation with him, which the fleeting pick-up lines are no match against.
Tip: Stay sober... :)
And honestly if the guy still doesn't bite, then i guess it's his loss. Each of us are created unique and definitely deserve someone who appreciates for who we are.

alright! buy your point, Lara!
bt what if one is born to the extent that no amount of grooming and dressing can enhance the overall package to a palatable status?! we are quoting an extreme case here...wat if? then how man?

ask God when u see him in heaven...if u get there...
HAHA 6th sense...
Then hopefully you'll be friend enough to him/her, to take the him/her on a makeover session.
One can be ugly, but grooming is still key if you want to stay 'noticed'. :D
