Wife: What is the key thing u look for in a marriage? Take your sister for eg, keeping the marraige lively is fundamental to them... Globe-trot, be a gourmand for the day, surprise each other with chocolate spas and pedicure... Take your parents for eg, they do everything together if they could. Family is their priority... do gardening together, walk together, eat fish everyday together... so, what is the 'umph' factor you're looking for in this marriage?

Hub: (stares blankly ahead, keeps silent for a few seconds...)

Wife: It's been only a year, and you're cracking your head on this?

Hub: Companionship lo, do things together, grow old together... like what we're doing now, enjoy keeping our pets (1 lobster, 1 hermit crab, a tank of guppies, a tank of mixed-up fishes, a tank of cherrie shrimps and a dog) together, go for walks, like what we're doing now, taking a walk around hougang (WAH... so glam! rolls eyes) after dinner... just spending time together...

Wife: Sigh... what did i get myself into? Where's the romance? Where are the surprises? Where are the sparks that will keep the relationship alive...(gets interuppted with a....)

Hub: bboooooootttttt (he contributed to the air voluntarily aka farted) booot. He he he... (gives a funny malu laughter)

Wife: That's what I love about you... u crack me up in your funny ways... romance or no romance, it's ok, i had a taste of it before... i'm just happy i have u with me at the end of each day....
