It's a Wrap!

This is long overdue but I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all my friends who came down to the Rock the Sub and Blues at the House gigs. I feel so looooooved because I know some of you bought tickets just to support my first project at T. Hope you discover some good music along the way!

Tell-tale signs that you have been to a good gig:
#1 The queue to the female washrooms is never ending.
#2 Bracing through crowds of sloashed-out folks during and after the event
#3 Pervs standing at the back of the stage watching artists' butts for 3-hours instead of just buying a ticket.
#4 Gatecrashers who scheme, scam and try to talk their way into free admission. I love throwing these people out. And while we are on this subject....

- To the "media personnel" who was wearing all manners of media passes and who used the WOMAD name in vain...shame on you for name dropping and how dare you mess with the ten-year-old history WOMAD Singapore has built up. You picked the wrong gig to crash.

- To the lady from "Ministry of Labour", I am pretty sure this name is no longer in use in the public sector and NOooooooo...write in through the proper channels if you want enter the gates to find out if "the under-aged" are performing on stage. Tip: Come in with some sort of identification, at least the "media personnel" above had 5 or 6 media passes to choose from.

yep. the "media personnel's" downfall was that he wanted to get free drinks (on top of his already "free" admission!) but i was just beside him when he made that request.
